The company has implemented advanced production technologies to maximise efficiency in cutting materials and is preparing for the full integration of raw materials with international environmental certification (FSC and PEFC).
As part of this transformation, MIDALPA has adopted 3D technical design and production engineering software that enables the company to accurately calculate the yield from each timber panel before it enters the cutting line, thereby reducing raw material waste.
At the same time, the company is committed to using highly durable materials, such as water-repellent panels and high-quality lacquered finishes, promoting a sustainable alternative to the ‘fast furniture’ model and prioritising solutions designed for greater longevity.
To consolidate this position, MIDALPA is at an advanced stage of the audit process to obtain FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification, ensuring that all timber used comes from forests managed in a responsible and sustainable manner.
